City Farm Café
You wouldn't expect to find a farm in the middle of Perth, but City Farm Café has transformed an old battery recycling plant and scrap yard into the only urban farm in the city. Before you even enter the farm, you'll hear the chickens and roosters clucking and crowing. Here, you can get fresh and seasonal food such as muffins, sandwiches, soups, and salads. The coffee is brewed from organic beans and has a strong flavour. The City Farm Café also offers an organic growers market every Saturday.

The comfortable couches and games at Carpe Coffee invite you to sit down, relax, and feel like a kid again. If you're not in the mood to play Jenga, you can borrow one of their books or magazines to read. Or you can simply sit in front of their large glass window and watch the happenings on Murray Street. If you're hungry, choose from muffins, cakes, or sandwiches. At Carpe Coffee, the baristas care most about quality. That's why they always use premium coffee beans for a consistently good brew that's very reasonably priced.

Tiger Tiger has a split personality. By day, it's a cosy café and by night, it's a trendy bar. While the bar offers unique cocktails and weekly beer specials, it's the coffeehouse that really has people talking. They serve single-origin coffee that changes on a weekly basis.
They were also the first in Western Australia to bring in a Kees Van Der Westen espresso machine from the Netherlands. This machine, which is known for being the best in brewing, actually uses 40 amps of electricity just to run. Also, if you actually plan on sleeping at night, the café serves a premium decaffeinated coffee that's made with the same attention to detail as the regular espresso.

Country Road Café
Vegans and vegetarians flock to Country Road Café for their healthy and fresh selections. However, non-vegetarians shouldn't fear since the menu also has selections that will appeal to them. Early morning coffee seekers can enjoy their locally roasted crema coffee with toast, fresh fruit, or a breakfast sandwich. In the afternoon, diners can take their quality coffee, salad, or sandwich to the outdoor dining courtyard. They can also satisfy their sweet tooth by choosing from a variety of slices, cakes, and cookies.

Located just a short drive from attractions like the Western Australian Museum, Cafe Vinyl can be easily reached in your rental car. The funky vinyl records on the coffee counter set the stage for this trendy café. There's an outside seating area where you can relax in the shade, enjoy a special blend espresso, and listen to the upbeat music. You can also try one of their wraps or sandwiches for a filling lunch. Additionally, the café is very proud of their gigantic muffins that are baked fresh every day to go along with their freshly brewed coffees.
